1. Introduction

KURI Products, a division of Techeim Inc. (“KURI Products,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website at www.kuriproducts.com (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us in connection with our business as a distributor of cosmetic raw materials. Our principal place of business is 5 N Corporate Dr, Riverdale, NJ 07457, USA.

The Site is a business-to-business website intended for professional and business users. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you contact us through the Site (for example, via our contact or inquiry form), by email, or in the course of doing business with us, we may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name, business email address, and phone number;
  • Business information, such as your company name, job title, and business address;
  • The contents of your inquiry or communication, such as the products or ingredients you are interested in; and
  • Information related to commercial transactions, such as order, shipping, and billing details, if you become a customer.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This information may be collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies (see Section 5 below).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, health information, or financial account credentials) through the Site, and we ask that you not submit such information through our forms.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide requested information, samples, documentation, or quotations;
  • Establish and manage business relationships, process orders, and provide customer support;
  • Send business communications, such as updates about our products, ingredients, and services (you may opt out of marketing communications at any time);
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Analyze how the Site is used so we can improve its content and performance;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations; and
  • Protect our rights, property, and safety, and those of our users and business partners.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer relationship management, and shipping/logistics, under obligations to protect the information;
  • Business partners and suppliers: where necessary to respond to your inquiry — for example, connecting you with an ingredient manufacturer for technical support — and generally with your knowledge;
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KURI Products or others;
  • Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case information may be transferred as a business asset; and
  • Affiliates: with Techeim Inc. and its affiliated entities for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies — small files stored on your device — to make the Site function properly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that collect information about Site usage through cookies and similar technologies.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not function properly. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; however, where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — for example, for the duration of a business relationship and any period required for legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory purposes — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or render it anonymous.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you reside, you may also have rights under applicable privacy laws, which may include the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format; and
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@kuriproducts.com. We will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law. Because we operate primarily as a business-to-business company, much of the information we handle is business contact information, and certain rights may apply differently under applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

10. International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States, and any information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States as described in this Privacy Policy.

11. Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms such as LinkedIn. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and post the updated policy on the Site. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
